Join us for 2 days of fun hands-on learning and gain the fundamental skills needed to operate CNC machines. You will gain a solid foundation that will empower you to create your own projects.
Classes run from 9 AM to 5 PM daily, with a one-hour lunch break.

This class covers essential topics that will enhance your understanding of CNC technology. Starting from the basics, students will learn about:
- Understanding the Machine: Get acquainted with the different components and mechanisms of CNC machines, allowing you to locate vital parts with confidence.
- Maintenance: Understand the best practices for maintaining your CNC machine to ensure longevity and optimal performance.
- Choosing the Right Bits: Discover various types of bits and their applications, ensuring you can select the best one for your projects.
- Machine Feeds and Speeds: Learn the intricacies behind setting feeds and speeds for your specific materials, maximizing efficiency and output quality.
- Using Control Software: Become proficient with the control software associated with CNC machines, giving you hands-on experience necessary for efficient machine operation.
- Getting Started with CAD/CAM: Dive into CAD/CAM programming using Vectric VCarve Pro, an industry-leading software, to bring your designs to life.
We have 9 computer stations equipped with VCarve Pro version 12.5. If you prefer to bring your own computer, please install VCarve Pro before the first day of class. We also have 3 CNC machines you will use to create your own custom sign!
