Description
What is digital fabrication? What is CNC? CAD? CAM? How does it work – and what does it do? We will answer these questions for you and many more! This class is designed to teach you how to get started operating CNC machine by teaching you the user interface and all of the essential processes and procedures for achieving rapid success with CNC. We have 9 computer stations for you to use, but if you prefer to bring your own computer, please have a licensed or trial edition of VCarve Pro download and opened on the computer prior to the class. The demo version of VCarve Pro, can be downloaded here: http://www.vectric.com/ . We will use VCarve Pro Version 12 in this class, but if you are operating with an older version it will work exactly the same way.
Classes begin each day at 9:00AM and end at 5:00PM.
