NC Furniture School is a woodworking and CNC education center based in Farmville, North Carolina, dedicated to teaching woodworking classes, furniture making, CNC machining, CAD/CAM, woodturning, and wood finishing to beginners, serious hobbyists, and working professionals. Our mission is simple, We seek to ‘Preserve, Promote, and Advance the Heritage of Woodworking in North Carolina’. We support the NCFS mission through rigorous, hands-on craft education, taught by experienced instructors on professional equipment, in a safe, supportive environment.

NCFS Classes are structured to move from foundational skills—tool safety, milling, joinery, and surface preparation—to advanced topics like CNC machining, CAD/CAM workflows, complex furniture construction, and high-performance finishing systems. Class formats include one-day intensives, multi-day workshops, international study, and full time study that help you build confidence, technique, and repeatable process.

We teach with a compliment of both state of the art and traditional equipment. In our classes you will learn to setup and operate the equipment with care and precision, in small classes. This ensures that every learner receives personal guidance. You will practice with industry-standard CNC machines, industrial grade traditional woodworking machines, premium hand tools, and proven finishing materials, so you can take what you learn here directly to your own shop.
