We developed this class to help you understand and the various types of finishes available and focus on how when, why, and where to use them. We will provide handouts for the course content, but encourage you to bring a notebook to record tips and tricks we share with you during the class.

January 17, 2020 Class 3 of 3 in a foundations course of study on CNC for Woodworkers. This third class will guide you into the world of 3-dimensional design and machining, jig making, work holding, two-sided machining, and tiling. After the drawing sessions, each student will go through hands-on exercises to set up the machines and turn the theory and practice from all three classes into 'sawdust & noise'.

Join us at the NCFS on Saturday April 18 from 9-4 for our first ShopBot Camp. This is a great way to connect with folks learning digital fabrication and using CNC in their shops! Learn new tricks from ShopBot employees and owners, share the cool things you’ve done with your ShopBot at show-and-tell, and generally have fun networking with other ShopBot owners and fans. And if you are interested in giving a short, informal presentation on a project or technique you’re excited about, let us know and we’ll add you to the schedule!
