Join our immersive three-day Master Class designed for intermediate woodworkers looking to elevate their cabinet-making skills. In this hands-on course, students will explore the intricacies of building high-quality cabinets with hardwood face frames, hardwood drawers, and floating shelves. The first day focuses on computer-aided design using VCarve Pro CAD/CAM software. We will teach you how to design premium quality cabinets with lessons including: cabinet terminology, carcass joinery, hardware options, fasteners, adhesives, and more. The second day will focus on practical assembly in our workshop where students will use CNC machinery to craft plywood components and MDF carved doors. You will also learn production methods for table saw cutting, and how to cut and assemble hardwood face frames. On day three students will master the assembly of a complete base cabinet and a 5-piece door. We will also teach you how to efficiently build a hardwood drawer with a router table and install it with discreet soft close under-mount drawer glides. Participants will leave equipped with a collection of custom jigs for rapid assembly and a comprehensive understanding of best practices in cabinetmaking. All materials and tools will be provided, please bring hearing and eye protection.
