36 inch diameter, vertically laminated, segment turned walnut mirror.
36 inch diameter, vertically laminated, segment turned walnut mirror. This mirror has been great product for Stuart Kent & Co., since designing it in 2009 I have sold a few dozen at shows in Philadelphia and High Point NC, and to individual clients. The high quality mirror glass is custom cut. The walnut frame is finished with a complex oil paint glaze, 12 hand rubbed coats of amber shellac, and 3 coats of bowling wax.

the East Carolina University Family Medicine Center, Cherry Exhibition case, for the university medical association history collections. this is the third major commission I was awarded from the Brody School of Medicine, Laupus Medical Library. It was also the fifth commission that I have contributed to for the Laupus Library, the first two I worked on were during my apprenticeship to my dear friend, mentor, and colleague, Master Cabinetmaker, Paul Gianino.

Mr. Earley included a beautiful reference to my sculpture by including Amphorae in the gold filigree on the dial.

Lindsey end tables. Paduak with pearl rose inlays
these tables were initially designed as a commission for Dr. Wes Lindsey M.D. and his wife of Atlanta, GA. The desin has been a top item for Stuart Kent & Co. with variations in several hardwoods. This is the oricinal pair, in natural African Paduak with pearl rose inlays. Finished with 12 coats of hand rubbed tung oil and blended bees & carnauba wax.

78" tall amphora. 20" maximum diameter. laminated sections of 8/4" segment - turned quartersawn white oak. This piece is now in the permanent collection and on display at the Imperial Centre for the Arts and Sciences, located in the historic Imperial tobacco building in downtown Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
